First Ever Blogger Event

You may have noticed that I haven’t posted in a few weeks, and I haven’t been lazy, I’ve been planning a blogger event which went on last night, the 29th of March and it wasn’t a stroll in the park, but it did go very well in my opinion! I am back, ready to fire up some posts I hope you will all enjoy!

It was lovely to see a few new and familiar faces but before we get to the good bits, there was a major pipe burst in Ask Italian our original venue who emailed us at 10:52 on the event day to let us know and I had a heart attack. Already rushed off our feet, my sister and I were frantically trying to find a new suitable venue which thank the skies, did happen and the event was held in Zizzi’s not too far up the road from Ask Italian.

We did invite a lot of bloggers but unfortunately many weren’t able to attend due to illness or work, which was a total shame but the night went on!!

So as the few bloggers arrived, we sat and had some drinks and a little bit of a chin wag before having a quick thank you speech followed by my eldest sister Esmee talking about the charity event she is part of this summer which is what half the raffle money will be going towards, as well as WWF a charity close to our hearts.

We then had the lovely Catherine and Jo, doing sample facials and hand massages from Body Shop and lovely chats about the products, and I cannot thank them enough as they were the most lovely ladies, very easy to chat to and very full of knowledge! Great little sample bags and amazing sample hand massages!

We ended the night with a raffle draw and goodie bags, in the raffle were prizes from Tetley, Shear Beauty, Crabtree and Evelyn, Tanya Warren at Bitzas, Escargot Skin Collection, Pixie Lott Hair, Bough To Beauty, Sabai Soaps, Charlie Locks, Boxcitement and Hamper Gift Sets.

Goodie bags included, personalised planners from Toad, Blogger Note Pads from Type the Hype, Miss Organics, Witch Skincare, Ohyo bottles, Cheerz Prints, Crown Mailing Bags, goodies from Boxcitement and a few leaflets from WWF. Also a great thanks to Aloha Lola Cards for designing the logos and the invites, they’re fabulous!

Here are a few shots I took when I grabbed a quick few moments!

We have to say a huge thank you to everyone who did come and it was lovely seeing you or meeting you and it would be lovely if you could come to any future events. If you didn’t come this time round but you would like to in the future, I will add you to our database. Please email or contact us via our Facebook Group or our Twitter and Instagram all @bloggereventsuk!

One big adventure loaded, many more to come I hope!

Isla xx
